Our Service Vs. The Rest
Benefit to you
We locate and secure all viable entry points to your premises.
We then inspect the area, and provide a detailed report and several solutions to stop the birds from entering.
If nests are found, the area will be high pressure cleaned and sprayed to control bird lice.
We only use the highest quality grade of bird netting material for all installations to ensure maximum protection.
Our experienced pest control will wow you with their friendly service and expertise in bird netting.
If you need bird netting for your balcony, we specialise in this too.
This is an option that we can use to deter birds from landing on buildings and ledges.
It's a less unsightly method than spikes, that's used to prevent birds from roosting in any area, from shopping centres to cafes. When used in the right situation, and applied by professionals, this method is highly effective.
Commercial bird spikes are a great deterrent to prevent birds from roosting on guttering, ledges, window sills and other flat surfaces.
This effective method prevents all birds from being able to land.
Ask your Service Now technician how bird spikes could solve your bird pest problem.
Bird Repellent Gel
We use gel as a repellent to stop birds from landing in areas where other methods don’t work or is not visually appropriate.
This method works by causing discomfort when they attempt to roost.
Ultrasonic Bird Repellent
Electronic ultrasonic repellents emit sounds that frighten pest birds.
Ask your Service Now technician if an ultrasonic bird deterrent is right for you.
Bird Shock Tape
This tape can be placed on any ledge to prevent roosting.
When a bird lands, they're given a small electric shock, which makes this a humane and effective bird deterrent.
When other methods of control are not suitable, we use baits.
This method strictly complies and is in accordance with the National Parks & Wildlife Service.
Our 3 Step
Bird Pest Control Action Plan
Investigate & Report
Our fully licensed and certified bird pest expert in Nelson Bay completes a thorough survey of your home or business.
As well as any damage caused to premises, health and safety issues will be noted. Recommendations can then be made to remedy the situation.
The investigation will identify factors that need to be dealt with in order to eradicate bird pests and prevent further infestation.
Using the report to identify factors impacting on the infestation, we can then recommend a solution suited to your individual needs.
When agreement has been reached on an action plan to tackle the problem, our Nelson Bay bird pest controller will commence the installation.
All our products comply with Australian health and safety standards and are installed by licensed experts.
Prevent Future Bird Problems
On completion of the project, we will supply a report listing the factors which were identified as triggers for the infestation. This may include environmental or structural issues.
The agreed action plan and installation details will be given along with any additional information pertinent to the report.
Finally, recommendations will be made which can help to prevent future infestation.
Love Our Work
"We used Service Now Trades on one of our latest projects at North Curl Curl Public School and we couldnt be happier. We had a few issues with the project which meant we needed Adam and the guys tobe flexible with date and time changes. There was no issues at all in that regards and the quality of work was what we need in a company like ADCO. Will use him again for other bird work on other projects".
"Adam and the boys were on time and efficient. They did extra work with no charge as our client was a little finicky with what they wanted exactly. We have contracted them again for another small job coming up in the RAAF to install bird netting. Great work from a great company".
"Adam and his offsider were a treat! They worked really hard to ensure the birds were gone from the roof by cleaning all the gutters and the mess they created. They were there for hours to make sure the job was done right. Adam was a pleasure to talk to and i have already recommended his company to all of our friends and family which some have already booked in and have the same experience. Cant talk highly enough of these guys for their great service".
Residential Customer in Lane Cove

Do You Have A Bird Pest Issue?
Then You Need To Act Fast - Here’s Why
Watching the antics of birds can be a pleasant pastime. Some, like the Rainbow Lorikeet are especially beautiful and can be a pleasure to interact with. Hence, it may come as a surprise that these pretty birds are considered a pest in Australia.
Likewise, Myna’s, Pigeons, sparrows, and starlings are also listed as pests, and for good reason. Apart from the fact that they drive out native birds, these feathered foe cause considerable damage to buildings, paintwork and electrical cabling. Not even your car is safe from them. Their highly acidic droppings are corrosive, eroding metal and causing permanent damage to paintwork (etching).
Birds also carry many diseases, some of which can be passed to humans via contact with birds, their faeces and nesting materials.
Call our Nelsons Bay expert to stop your bird issue from becoming an infestation.
Bird Pest Control for Commercial Premises
Why Its Important To Act Now
Feral birds and great business just don’t go together. From a health and safety perspective consider your premises from a client point of view. Slip tripping up steps covered in bird excrement is an unwelcome sign to new clients and a health hazard to old and new alike. Birds tend to nest in eves and roof spaces of industrial buildings. Not surprisingly this can be very off-putting for clients. It is especially difficult regarding food production or storage.
Bird droppings are highly corrosive and can damage machinery over time. If birds get into air vents, they can cause serious health issues for workers and clients as they carry over 60 diseases. Bird pest control is a must for every business. In Nelsons Bay.
Name and Shame in NSW
The Food Authority of NSW takes health and safety very seriously. Any breach in regulatory standards are met with heavy penalties. Food preparation and storage facilities are particularly at risk. Scores on doors is an initiative aimed at food outlets and seeks to raise the bar by publicising whether eateries are compliant with NSW hygiene and food safety requirements.
Likewise, the Name and Shame register of NSW is doing its part to inform the general public of businesses which breach food safety laws.
Customers are less keen to patronise food outlets that have been deemed non-compliant with health and safety regulations. Hence, food production and storage facilities in Nelsons Bay would do well to ensure all food areas are protected by bird control measures installed by professional bird pest controllers.
Bird Pest Control – Residential
Act Now Before Its Too Late
A few birds nesting in the back yard or on the roof may not seem too much of a problem. But like many things in life, it can get out of hand. A few birds can cause a huge influx of feathered friends when they realise there is food, shelter and a warm welcome at number 22 Nelsons Bay. Pretty soon the sweet birdsong in the morning turns into a cacophonous chorus of squawking birds and their disease-ridden guests.
Cockroaches, bird mites, ticks, mice, and rats are all attracted to areas where birds nest and perch. On top of this consider the 60 or so diseases which are carried by birds. Some of these diseases are zoonotic (transmissible to humans) such as Salmonella, Psittacosis, Histoplasmosis and Avian Influenza.
If you’re planning a BBQ with friends or family be careful. The droppings, feathers, and nesting materials of those cute birdies can be a health hazard anywhere near food.
It's difficult to imagine the damage these delightful creatures can cause. But when you have to pay contractors to climb the roof with specialist equipment to fix the solar panels they have wrecked, it becomes very real. Birds also cause damage to cabling on buildings by nesting, scratching and pecking.

Bird Control Experts
The recent influx of birds to urban areas has caused many problems for commercial and residential premises. The inflow has been due in part to natural habitats being destroyed by development or taken over by non-native birds. In the end, both the native birds and non-native birds are forced to flee and scavenge what they can in an urban environment. Food outlets, refuse tips and unsecured bins are a great food source for scavenging birds.
Flocks can grow from 30 birds to 200 in a matter of weeks and the larger the flock, the more difficult it is to treat.
We offer various eradication and prevention measures designed for your specific needs. Every project is installed by licensed and certified experts. Below is a list of some of the products we use to make sure your property is bird-free.

- Bird netting
- Bird spikes
- Bird shock tape
